The Colorado Rockies will play more games this week. They aren’t exactly important in terms of who wins or loses, but some of the individual performances could be meaningful. Rookie starting pitcher Jon Gray will take the mound on Friday night against Bartolo Colon of the New York Mets as he tries to continue the strong start to his Major League career, and David Hale is scheduled to make two starts this week after coming off the disabled list with a strained groin. He’ll be looking to show that he deserves consideration for a roster spot in 2016. There are also the performances of position players like Carlos Gonzalez and Jose Reyes that could either boost or harm their trade value, which is also something to consider. Only 46 games left, so enjoy them while they last! Here’s a look ahead to week 20.
